In thisvideo I give a full in depth tour of the ultra rare 1 of 6 1976 Mercedes 450 SEL Sbarro Gullwing. A custom built car by swiss coach builder franco sbarro. There were about 28 produced in all when combined with the optional Bi-turbo 5.0, the 6.9 V8 was much more limited as stated earlier. Recently completed a 5 year restoration, this was one of the more unique examples of extravagant styling of the 70s. It has been fitted with aftermarket wheels, BUT ALSO this car is not lifted, it has an adjustable suspension that controls the vehicle's ride height. That's why it may look higher than it really is. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration.
